On Eagles’ Wings (OEW) is a Christ-centered nonprofit that rescues and restores families trapped in poverty and sex slavery within the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Every day, we walk alongside mothers and children who have known unimaginable hardship—and together, we rise.
In times of crisis, we provide critical short-term rental assistance—a lifeline that keeps families stable while they rebuild.

Our story
How God Moved in a Village—and Changed the World
In 2014, God moved through the heart of a small village woman named Maggie Friedrich. With nothing more than faith, a backpack, and a calling, she stepped into the streets of Nairobi where children as young as six were being sold to survive. What began as a single act of obedience has since grown into a thriving ministry rescuing entire families from the grip of poverty and exploitation.
Today, OEW is a registered nonprofit operating a 24/7 safe house, education sponsorships, healing programs, and sustainable livelihood initiatives for families across Nairobi. Our work is raw, real, and rooted in the belief that every life has value.
