Building The Slum Community

Life in the slums is unpredictable—fires, floods, and health emergencies strike with little warning. That’s why we provide emergency food aid, medical support, and temporary housing to residents in need. When catastrophe hits—whether it’s a child suffering from untreated illness or a family losing their home to fire—On Eagle Wings steps in quickly to offer life-saving help.

Community Support

We provide emergency food, medical aid for minor treatments, and temporary shelter during fires, floods, and demolitions—often as first responders in times of crisis.

  • Food Relief

We ensure that families who go days without a meal receive nutritious support packages. This is often the first step in restoring hope. Since 2016, we have disseminated food to thousands of people.

  • Minor Medical Assistance

We provide funds for minor medical and eye treatment and referrals. These interventions often mean the difference between life and death for many slum residents.

  • Fire, Floods, and Catastrophes

When a family loses a home, we frequently provide initial rent for a new home. We also buy house supplies that were destroyed, such as small cookers, gas tanks, cups, plates, utensils, mattresses, and blankets.

Advocacy & Engagement

We hold community networking meetings to bring unity into the slum.

Friday Church and Prayer at Anytime

Our mums, children and the community are welcome to our Friday church and for prayer any time during the week.

At On Eagle Wings Rescue, we are deeply committed to uplifting the slum communities of Nairobi, where poverty, disaster, and neglect often leave families in survival mode. Our project, Building the Slum Community, is an ongoing mission to bring dignity, hope, and stability to some of the most vulnerable households in Kenya’s urban informal settlements.
